The Hozelock Cyprio BioForce filter is a pressurized biofilter, designed to be low maintenance and easy to install. Your pressurized filter can also be used to run the water on to your waterfall. Since Hozelock Cyprio introduced the UV pond filter Bio Force range in the late 1990's they have established themselves as the number 1 choice and the market leading brand, supplying over 60 countries world wide.
The robust, compact design makes
it very flexible, allowing you to conceal it below ground up to it's
lid or at a distance from the pond edge. Unlike traditional gravity
pond filters that need to be situated at the top of a waterfall, so
that the filtered water can flow back into the pond, the BioForce
Range utilizes pressure to force water uphill. The 4 stage
mechanical & biological pond filtration ensures the successful
removal of organic matter, harmful ammonia and nitrites from your
backyard pond. The BioForce UVC Model
pressurized filter is fitted with an integrated Vorton UVC
sterilizer that controls green water (algae bloom) to maintain a
perfectly clear pond. Hozelock pond water filtration systems
guarantee the end user high quality, performance and reliability,
all within an affordable, competitively priced product. Routine
maintenance is easy and all Hozelock BioForce pressurized pond
filtering systems are fitted with a
unique
red indicator button that pops up when the filter needs to be
cleaned.
BioForce Pressurized Pond Filters + UV
How Does the Cyprio BioForce UV filter work? Water enters the filter where a vortex action causes the heavy solids to collect at the bottom of the filter. The water is then forced under pressure through 2 sets of foam filtration media: fine and medium/coarse. The pressurized action helps to prevent the foam pond filter media from becoming blocked. The green water passes through the UV where it is killed and trapped in the foam sponges.
